Story of

Mr. Brad Stokes

Bradford Stokes was born and raised in Logan, Utah.  He received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Utah State University.  His Master’s was in Rehabilitation Counseling, with which he worked for the Utah State Office of Rehabilitation for 5 years as a rehabilitation counseling and clinical supervisor.  During this time, he completed additional course working in clinical therapy through Utah State University in order to qualify for the Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor license through the State of Utah.

Bradford’s clinical experience includes working at Logan Regional Hospital’s Emergency Room and Behavioral Health Unit, Utah State’s Counseling and Psychological Services, and the Family Place.  Bradford joined Mt. Logan Clinic in June of 2019.

Bradford routinely works with children, adolescents, and adults.  He has experience helping people affected by depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety (including OCD and panic), ADHD, disruptive behaviors, and addictions. Bradford routinely works with individuals, couples, and families.

Bradford believes everyone is not only as good as their worst performance and we, as human beings, are capable of changing ourselves for the better.   He understands change is difficult and offers a non-judgmental approach to working with individuals, couples, and families to identify strengths and to create solutions.  Bradford uses the following approaches in therapy: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) (including Alternatives for Families Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, AF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Mindfulness.
